Winter Apples

This is a piece I actually finished a while ago but because it is someone's gift I have had to hold off on posting it until now. It was a commission for and if looks familar it has its roots in a sketch  I did on stream link Christmas Eve 2013. Of which I will once again be on his stream both Christmas Eve and New Years eve! Hope you can join us one of those night! Especially New Years Eve.  Also since I am doing a colored pencil demonstration on Picarto tonight link it seemed like a good time to post this.

This piece was fun because I got to refine the initial sketch a bit more and with help I she came up with a more rational way to have the pleats but still give a flat area for AJ cutie mark! The piece is my usual colored pencil, marker, technical pen and gouache.
