Afternoon soaking

We're having our first real heat wave of the year in our neck of the woods. Had to hook up the A/C units for the first time. That's probably what inspired me to sketch this out today.

    AJ   laid back in the cast iron bathtub and let the coolness of the water slowly seep into her. Then she took another swig of Sweet Apple Acres finest.

    The best part about doing the chores is when there over.

    She was content to just lay there in that tub until Celestia's great fiery orb did the courteous thing and set below the western horizon. Unfortunately her little island of tranquility was interrupted by the sound of the bathroom door opening.

    "Ya still just soaking that there tub?" Said Applebloom. "Ya know Big Mac and I would like ta take a bath to dontcha?"  

    "I'm not just a soaking!" Growled her big sister. "I'm thinking and contemplating what we need ta do and buy ta make our farm better. Now go away."

    Applebloom flopped down in the chair next to the tub. "So whatcha thinking of buying?"

    A lock fer the bathroom door is high on the list. Thought the mare.

    "Important things." Said AJ as she took another pull of cider. "Dontcha got chores ta do?"

    "Chores are done." Said the filly. "So are Big Mac's that's why we need ya ta get yer butt out of that tub so we can all bathe before dinner!"

    "Fine, fine! I'm a moving!" As AJ slowly got out of the tub she thought to herself.

    We don't need a lock on the bathroom door. We need another bathroom.
