So glad you could make it

I meant to have this piece up for Valentines Day but just didn't get the chance to finish it yesterday. This is another scene from an upcoming posting in my Equestria dreamscape. Celestia seems to be quite happy that somepony has arrived for their dinner date!

One of the things I am trying to understand is how fabric could drape of a equine's body particularly around the legs. I may or may not do a color piece of this drawing in the future. Any opinions from my watchers?

Edit. There is apparently some question about whether copied this piece since it is apparently similar in theme to a piece they had in the NYC Ponycon. Let me make one thing very clear. They did not. In fact I did not finish this piece until 1pm PST today. It is just a case of convergent evolution and nothing more. Besides neither I or Newyorkx3 or I own the rights to Celestia. Hasbro owns them and we all should be very gratefully that they let us explore their property so much unlike a certain entertainment company with a rodent for a mascot who will bomb you out existence with cease and desist letters at the drop of a hat.
