This is the first Rosemary with bike picture I ever did many years ago and it was the one of the first motorcycles I ever tried to do so it was learning experience to say the least.
his piece taught me a lot about drawing technology. Unlike a car or an aircraft where much of the operating mechanism is hidden under body panels, with a motorcycle most of the running gear is out in the open for all to see. Even sportbikes with their extensive body fairings have most of their mechanicals open and visible to the naked eye. This means that not only do have to get the overall shape and perspective of the motorcycle right but all the subcomponents. Also I had to deal with the chrome encrusted engine and all the highlights and shadows.

You do AMAZING pencil work! And your ability to illustrate individual engine parts . . Oh! I get it! Ride 1 and Ride 2! I wouldn't have notice that if you hadn't pointed it out!
Looks like I have plenty of drawings of Rosemary to keep my eyes busy!
