De Cup Runneth over. by Baron-Engel De Cup Runneth over. by Baron-Engel
Since several people really enjoyed the chrome work in some of my recent postings I decide to give you a whole bunch of shiny metal this time! Several years ago someone paid Petina DeMouse a whole lot of money to get some very detailed body castings done of her. From these castings and with some additional sculpting they produced a range of objects using her likeness. Things like doorhandles, candlesticks, a hood ornament, paper weight and of course some wine goblets. Petina seems to be happy with final product. Of course that maybe due to the fact she gets a percentage of each one sold to along with the initial upfront payment.

So, instead of getting a handle on the mouse, they got a mouse on the handle, ...

Um, modesty has never been a strong point with her.

I'm not sure of the appeal of a cup like that is.. I wouldn't get much drinking done were it me. *Stares at the shiny mouse*

Petina just smiles and nods her head. "Ah! You are obviously are a person of good taste!"

"I may be a part of the least common denominator, Pett, but I know quality when I see it. ;)"

"...along with the initial upfront payment?" She might have been shorted on the percentage, then. I think I'd prefer a cut of the take with a guaranteed minimum as an "advance."

You know, this kind of thing might make an interesting RL product on its own.
