Commission: Show me what you got

This is a B/W commission for and the bat pony in the picture is same character that appears in Commission. My Former Home

For this commission the client wanted to show the character Skyline doing some live steel sparring with a griffin. Yes the posing is very Hollywood but we were more interested in drama and posing, and not effective combat tactics.

Now wings create all kinds of opportunities with composition and at the same time create all kinds of problems when it comes to silhouette. However after some very useful feedback from my wife as was able to refine my initial concepts into a much more finished piece.

Edit note. One thing I had to change was to move the Pip-Buck to the other arm. It was a mistake I made in the initial sketches and corrected in the final piece but I once again stuck it on the wrong arm.
